From September 20 to 23, 2026, the IVUSS 2026 Conference, organized by the International Veterinary Ultrasound Society, will take place in Utrecht, in the historic Anatomiegebouw (Anatomy Building).
Dedicated to the advancement of veterinary small animal diagnostic ultrasound imaging and interpretation, IVUSS promotes high standards of knowledge, clinical expertise, and technical proficiency in the field. The annual conference serves as a focused educational forum for veterinarians committed to deepening their understanding of ultrasound applications in daily practice.
The 2026 scientific program will include 17 hours of lectures, featuring five cardiac sessions and twelve non-cardiac sessions. Topics will range from ophthalmic ultrasound and anesthesia and sedation considerations, to ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and machine settings optimization, offering a comprehensive perspective on both clinical and technical aspects of ultrasonography.
IVUSS 2026 represents a key meeting point for education, collaboration, and the continued refinement of diagnostic ultrasound standards in veterinary medicine.
